Default New to Jeeps...what does this steering column lever do?

See how the line doesn't line up with the LOCK arrow? If you push that lever, you should be able to turn the ignition lock back so they align.

If it's working right and not messed up in the column. You should have to push it down to remove the key.

The PO said it would start without the key b/c there is a prob with the ignition cylinder. I think he just didn't know about the cylinder lock. I'll try to find the key then mess with it.

Don't want to get stranded at work with no key.
