i got a jeep and the steering wheel is loose it can move all around and sometimes it will shut the jeep off.. my windshield wipers will not work and the rear defrost wont work and i am unsure how to fix anything on it cause imnew to jeep.. any help please

 

I am no expert - relatively new to the DIY fixes myself. If you don't have one already, pick up a Haynes Manual for the XJ. You can find this at most bookstores or auto parts stores and it details all of the systems and components of the XJ. I will let the pros recommend how to fix these issues, but Haynes is a good place to start if you want to understand how the thing is supposed to work in the first place!

 

get a steering wheel puller, pull it off and there are two bolts under the column about 6inches back there loose i guarantee it tighten them up and your good. i know cause i had the same problem message me if you have any questions
