New Jeep owner fob - diagnostic connection problems
Hi Jeepsters,
I haven't had my 97 jeep cherokee for long and I was really enjoying it up until a week ago
Then my key fob stopped working so I can't disable the immobiliser.
I got a replacement fob and my auto electrician come round to programme it but the jeep won't talk to diagnostic machine through the connector.
Has anyone got any ideas as to what's wrong with it???

The keyless receiver is in the headliner about the rear view mirror. Unplug it and plug it back in and see what happens. Mine didnt work when I got mine either and I unplugged it and it worked, then stopped again. IDC cuz I jst installed a remote start/keyless in it
