Default New hitch or bumper with built in hitch?

I have a 99 and the ends of the frame are closed which means that the rear bumper probably needs to be removed and I need to drill to install a hitch. Would it make more sense to get a bumper that has one just built in? Any recommendations?
Thanks

I personally say to go with a bumper with built in hitch because they are usually higher than a separate unit.

i love my bumper with a hitch. more clearance and if you put one on the front then you can mount a winch to a plate welded to the male end and switch it from front to back depending on which way is best in the scenario... and not have the ugly winch on when you dont need it. that way your not worried about it getting hurt on a rough trail
