Basically just what the title says. Got a pair of new headlights and bulbs. First dissconected the battery, took old headlights out, put new ones in. Hooked the battery back up and thought I was done ... When I started the engine it didnt rev up over 1000 rpms like it usually does. It sounds like its ideling way lower too like at 800-900 rmps, when before it was a little bit higher but not much. What worries me is how it sounds when it starts. It just doesnt sound like it used too... Any ideas out there, I dont know where to start. Thanks guys.

 

You unhooked he battery and erased the 'knowledge" the computer has of our engine. You need to take it for a drive, going through all the gears etc. By the time you get 100 miles on it, it will be back to normal.

 

hmmm ok. I remember unhooking it before and not having this trouble but that does make sense. I was thinking the computer to but was to unsure to make an educated guess.
