Hey my name is Joe and im from Michigan. Thought id introduce myself first and foremost.

I just picked up this Jeep its a 1990 Cherokee with a 4 inch lift and 32" Mickey T's. Has an 8000 lb. bumper winch; luggage rack; and a set of overhead lights. The questions i need answered are..

How much can i go with this much lift? As far as tire size

Also my blower motor/resistor for my fan is blown i believe.. when i hit the switch for a/c i can hear the a/c make noise but it won't blow anything on hot or cold even on defrost...

My speedo cable snapped and I was wondering if it's a pain in the *** to replace.. I've never replaced one on any car so id like an idea of how hard it is.

There is a switch on my Jeep for the transmission.. the guy told me it sets it to lower gears or something? maybe one of you can help me. It's a factory switch.

Whoever built the Jeep also put in like an axillary fan switch in for the motor.. wondering if i should just run it all the time or should i only use when i need too?

First Welcome to CF. You are at or near the max on that lift without trimming and bumpstopping it. Can't say much about the blower motor. Speedo cable snakes through the dash and can be difficult to get where you want it but it can be done if you have the patience. The Power/Comfort switch has nothing to do with gearing. It adjusts the shift points in the computer for the automatic transmission. It does seem to make the shifts more harsh on the Power setting. The Aux fan switch which you mentioned is to be used when going slow or you are stopped for a lengthy period like winching or stuck on a trail with the person in front of you unable to make any forward progress. It should come on by itself at a certain temp or with the A/C. Mickey Ts are good tires but a bit aggressive for most pavement traveling.

The blower resistor is located on the passenger side under the dash.
The black box has a plug in it. Unplug and remove 2 little screws, pull out the unit and replace with a new one.
The blower resistor controls the fan speeds.
