Hello all my name is Jimmy and I just bought my first Jeep. It is a 1994 Cherokee 4.0 in line six automatic transmission NOT 4X4. I got it for $200 the body is in dang near perfect condition couldn't pass it up. To top it off it passed emissions. I'm trying to see if anyone has a picture of their fuse panel with diagram. My heater nor AC isn't blowing and I'm not sure why.

Welcome Jim! I can't help you right now with that diagram. It IS always good to fill out your info so in later posts people can see right off what you have. Sometimes the weekends are slower than the week days, good luck!

Check the plug at the blower motor, you may find it melted.

Fuse diagram for a '95 here, I think 94 is the same:

Thanks again Radi. The diagram was an exact match. However the plug to the blower motor in perfect condition. So I checked the motor by running electric wires directly from the battery to the blower motor plug and it turned on. So the motor works.

I removed the dash and pulled the controls for the heater and AC and one of the wiring harnesses was melted and the receivers for the harness were fried.

Does anyone know how many years they used the same controls for the heater and AC?

<= Worked for an electronics mfgr over in Fairburn for a while.

94 95 96 look like they use the same HVAC controls to me. Could be more years than that. '97 went to the rotary controls, I'm not sure if the wiring is interchangeable but I suspect not.

So apparently the burning out of the harness and receiver happens often. I must of looked at 10 different Cherokees today and finally found one in descent condition. The good news is I now have heat and AC. Thanks again for all the help.
