$40 vs. Free....

I'm a take free. Like I said its a wrecked hood. Why spend $40 when I don't have to?

I was out with the first officer to drive our cities new 2012 charger cruisers last year. The thing was cleaned spotless and had all the fancy stuff in it. When we went to adjust the seats I noticed the kickplate at the bottom of the "cage" was made out of misc. street signs lol.

Back on topic, the foam padding under the carpet really held water for a long time. Before the floor rusted completely through, the water had no where to go but the lowest point and disperse evenly through the padding just eating the poor metal below.

I have no clue how I am going to replace the rockers after i fix the floor since that pinch seam is 90% gone, only surviving at the very front and back of it. I have plastic garbage bags holding the carpet into the jeep by securing the bags under the trim panels lol.

Like I said, to each his own.

I think thats a bit trashy. So I got new material. My XJ means enough to me.

Metal is metal. How is something purchased off a shelf any better than what you already have sitting around?

If its bad enough pre fab pans are much easier to put in. I did a full pan on my passenger side and patched the drivers side.

Do you still have solid metal anywhere above the rockers? Under the doors?
My pinch seams were mostly gone too. I bent up new rockers that attach to the sill plate under the doors, bend around then under like the factory rockers did, but instead of a pinch seam they are extended all the way back to the frame rail. I attached them to the floor pan where it meets the frame. So far so good.

Rockauto has pans from $41 just for front to $97 for a full front and rear pan.
They also sell the full rear cargo pan (Which I have sitting in the garage right now for my 95).

Precut pieces, don't remember size. Call them if you need info or find on their website.
