i was looking to put a new exhaust on my 01 cherokee. was wondering if i could delete the resonator. and any one know any good headers by chance. thanks

 

Replaced the stock muff with a Magnaflow on our '98 XJ.....no resonator on '98's.

 

headers for an 01 are hard to find and they are not cheap because they have two port holes for the O2 sensors where the older xj had only one.
so you can buy the old one and drill and tap it or find one with both holes.

 

if i drill and tap two new holes will it still work properly.

 

i found a header with the two holes and the two outlets but it says its for a different model but same year and motor will that still work
