im looking in to a new head headers intake and some other performance parts but i dont know if i should rebuild the bottom end or buy a remanufactured engine or if i have to do that at all for that matter my fear is rebuilding the top end and having the compression difference blow the rings and end up with a piston in my new head or having some other catasterfy happen and trash my new parts, and or just drop one of the crate motors in that is offered
i need help from some people who have already gone through this please
and has anyone put in a 4.7 stroker in? will it fit or will i have to mod some stuff

If it was me I'd get the 4.6 stroker from golden. I've have two buddies running them without having any issues yet. I did a top end rebuild about a week after I got mine and I now wish I would have just bought the stroker.
Contact golenengineservice.com I would call them directly but I've never heard of there being any differences between the wrangle blocks and the Cherokee blocks. Mopar is also putting out a stroker motor it would be another option for you to check into.

Buying an engine is the easy but expensive way. Less time consuming.
Rebuilding your engine is the hard but cheap way. More time consuming.
Really just depends on how important the extra money is to you.
If you rebuild your engine from top to bottom and stroke it, it is basically just like what your buying. Brand new essentially.
