Default New Engine Noise

So I'm on my way to work this morning and about 3k when my tranny shifts I hear a brief rattle from the engine, not a knock but a rattling sound. I have also recently started loosing oil pressure at idle.....

Has your jeep thrown any codes? Might be helpful to run a code scanner on it just for fun and see if anything comes up. Are you able to pinpoint where abouts the noise is coming from (what part of the engine)? Check the bolts on the Flex plate and make sure there tight, and while your pokeing around the engine check for anything out of place (loose bolts, parts not looking right, etc...). Keep us informed on what you find.

Yea I need to do a loose parts check but the sound seems to be coming from the engine compartment. The check engine light has been on since I've owned it (2 years) but has never seemed to effect how it's ran. I'll take your advice and check the codes...
