New Engine
My '99 XJ has bit the dust. Outside of a direct replacement 4.0 entertaining an upgrade, not sure what would fit though, also need new bearings in the rear end. Got a car guy that could do both and I do not want some used engine with 100k on it already. If I am going to fork out...$2k plus I want it spankin' new. She deserves no less

Some people put a stroker kit in the 4.0.
I saw a picture on the web last year with an LS1 in an XJ.
With enough money and time, I guess about anything is possible.
