I replaced the cylinder head and now the engine wont idle under 900rpm

That would make sense, i had to leave one of the bolts off for the intake manifold

 

After it warms up it lopes slightly, like i have a mild cam

 

I wouldn't let it go for too long, the missing fastener will cause the intake manifold to warp & it will never seal.

 

Fixed, i bought and installed some exhaust studs on the bottom of the intake manifold and it was much easier to get to. Not a cake walk but still easier. No more leak. When it rains it pours, now my alternator is acting up now. I'm gonna shoot my xj.
