Default New CPS, coil, new cap and rotor, new distributer, and still no spark...... HELP!!!

96 XJ--- I've done a ton of research and trial and error. Thrown a bunch of $ at new parts and still nothing. Put a plug on the wire from the new ignition coil an it only sparks once in a while. And when everything is plugged in it pops off a cylinder once in a while. I've also got a good ground and good battery with full charge. Thank for the help

What about the cam sensor?
Not sure where it is on the distributor cars, but I am pretty sure it is internal in your pick up

Quick question. Where did you purchase you new CPS from? If not from the dealer that can still be your problem. After market CPS's are hit and miss out of the box.

CPS is from napa. It's not one o the cheap cheap ones. Cam position sensor is on the distributer. It came new along with the new distributer. Also from napa.

Well while my key is in the ON position my fuel pump and injector relays keep clicking and resetting?. The #2 cylinder injector keeps injecting fuel. And I get spark from the ignition coil when the fuel pump relay clicks. Haha. Remember, this is while in the ON position. Not while being turned over. I have a video but its not loading from my phone

Don't need a video. Looks like your PCM is toast.

I had my buddy look for one while I was at napa thinking that could be a problem and he couldn't find one in the system. Where should I get one from?
