It may be as easy as cleaning the throttle body and the idle motor passage - get a shop manual as you're going to need one

the throttle body was very clean. i got a check engine light took it to auto shop and it was reading bad O2 sensor but i just replaced that. i'm going to order another O2 sensor and see if the check engine light and sputtering goes away.

should the o2 sensor be faulty, would this be likely to cause rough idle problems? also, i was driving the car today and, while i was on drive, the car stalled. would that be a o2 issue?

Check the wiring harness coming up from the O2 to the fuel rail wiring harness - Chryslers wire shielding often deuterates letting the wires ground out. Do this before you buy another

an OBD2 reader is a cheap, but invaluable tool, that can usually read live data from the O2 sensor

aftermarket O2 sensors are often not much good

True, I warranted two Bosh O2 sensors before I requested a Walker brand which worked

Shielding and wire are available at most part stores. I solved mine with electrical tape and wire ties - all of which is academic till you get under your jeep

ok so i just got word from the previous owner saying he just recently replaced the o2 sensor twice, am i to believe that he just bought crap parts? or can it be something that is ruining the sensors maybe?

also, the rough idle is getting worst, i just bought a oem o2 sensor, hopefully this works

Once again - you should look at the wiring - In a good shop manual you can find how to test the resistance in an O2 sensor to find out if it is really bad - even an analog VOM will do - Did the previous owner test them or just look at the code and mindlessly replace them?

Check to see if it's cracked. Oil, anti-freeze, compression, look inside oil filler opening.
