I am going to be new to the Cherokee world in the next few months. I need a lot of help picking the right one for me. My big concern is what year would be the best to mod? and the best to work with off road?

I have experience, I have a 03' Liberty with a 4 inch lift and 31s, but I want that to be my DD and the Cherokee to be my off road Jeep and a DD if I want to drive it anywhere.

So, I was thinking a 6.5" long arm rough country? do I really need a long arm? what will it do for me rather than a 6.5" rough country non-long arm?

what size tire should i get on what rim and backspace? i was thinknig 33/12.50/15?

first thing is first tho, I am gonig to be purchasing this mid july and most likely adding the lift right after purchase along with tires. Armor will come later, i will not wheel it unless i have armor, until then it will just sit in the garage, i want this thing to be bullet proof.
