dude you build that yourself? if you did you could make a fortune on building those i know i would buy that exact one for mine. it looks better than most aftermarket bumpers. and i agree i like how its tight up against the grill it gives it a better look of the stock bumpers.

Its very clean looking and that makes a nice touch.

But my concerns are going to the same as the rest. It needs additional tie-ins further back on the uni-frame. Additionally, how thick are those loops???

I would tie it in to the same locations as factory tow hook brackets at least. that's one spare mounting hole back on the frame (the hole is already there with a sleeve through the frame.

I'd also make 90 degree interior brackets which bolt on to the other side of the front two bolt holes, and then to the front of the front x-member.

I'd also weld on one more piece on the bottom to cover the front x-member so you don't hit that on anything...

and definitely add a reciever on the front...flush mount it and somehow swet it up to put the hitch pin in from behind the bumper.

I had surgery on my wrist on monday so it was kinda quick "throw together". I took it off earlier to rework the mounting points and got side tracked on a winch bumper. Had to come in the house to take my meds. Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. I'll keep ya posted on the new mounts.

They're rated at 20,000 lbs. and the loops are 1/2".

Yea if it was tied in a little better to the mounts it would be the nicest bumper I have seen!! There are not many aftermarket bumpers I would spend money on but I would buy this one For sure! If you made it I would love to have one!

Looks good. The only concern I see is the recovery points look like they could rip off under pressure. Just curious. I've seen some stuff break and I doubt the welds would hold well enough. but who knows. Just my input.... Looks great though. Very nice.

I have these parts cut but i think i burnt up my drill. Was able to get one mount plate cut and drilled. One of the comments i had on another forum was grill protection because of how tight it fits. As far as the d-rings on the front i think i'm going to call the metal shop in town and get a price on shackle mounts. These will run through the 2x4 tubing and get welded 100% front and back. I think these should work, here's a picture of the new mount. Thanks again for your comments and concerns.

looking good, nice to hear about the improvements. If you are going to start selling...maybe you could keep the D-rings as an option...
