The last time I did my fronts I used a long piece of tube so I could do it sitting there with a can on the passenger seat, thumb on the end of the hose. (when letting up). Air? Mine makes a little hiss as I press. Maybe an inlet having to do with the Vac. Booster.
The adjustment of the rears sort of IS your free-play in the petal Btw. Having that so your wheel just turns free is what gives a nice solid petal.

Yea I bench bled the master before installation. Im having my wife pump the brakes and then she holds them and I open the bleeder and then I close the bleeder. Im going to tomorrow morning and buying a vaccum bleeder from autozone. I might try your way also but with a Coke bottle.
And as for the band, I'm not sure but the guy on the top row in the middle looks like Kip Winger, so I'll say the band is Winger. But then again the guy at the bottom with the guitar looks like Eddie Van Halen. But I'm going with Winger. Final answer.

Honestly, the way I bleed the master is this:
Remove the out going brake line from the front of the MC. Hold your thumb over the hole and have your wife pump the brakes once. If the fluid pushes your thumb off it's good to go. Then thread the lines back in quickly so you do don't lose much fluid. I had the same issue that you're having. Turned out to have air in the MC.
It's a collage of several different bands... I'll give you 6 points for getting more than one member right. lol

I'd certainly try the coke bottle first. I hate using a vac bleeder. Also, if you want, I'd suggest getting speed bleeders when you go to the parts store. They work well.

I have someone in the car I have them say "Down" and they start pushing on the brakes. I then say "Open" so they know I have opened the bleeder. Then once they get to the bottom with the pedal I have them say "Close" to tell me to close it. Lastly I say "Closed" so they know they can release the pedal.
COMMUNICATION IS KEY IN THIS METHOD!!

I've always done it manually. I'll crack open all 4 and let them gravity bleed for a while then I'll come back and close them and do them all individually with the procedure I posted up top.

Cool. Nothing wrong with new tools. Everytime I "rent" tools from the parts store I always make sure I get a new tool and can't make myself take them back even tho I spent money on them that I didn't really need to be spending. lol
I'll have it next time tho.
