Got an Autocraft Gold a few months ago. Jeep shut off on highway the other day, then once got home dead the next day. What could cause this? Only thing I have hooked up is some fogs. Could they be drawing ? Thanks

Could be lots of things...bad connections, bad charging system, ignition off draw. Time for some troubleshooting. The auto parts store will check the battery and charging system for you usually for free.

you either have a dead cell in your battery or a serious draw somewhere...disconnect the battery and charge it with a voltmeter hooked up....after it is charged watch the voltmeter and see if it starts dropping voltage quickly...if so you have a dead cell...if not disconnect the new fogs and see if your battery holds a charge

Took to Advanced and got tested. Said it was good . Looking around the motor, I see a zip tie broke and My hot wire to fogs melted to the manifold. Fixed it up, would that cause shutting off as like a Safety thing...
