i have been trying for the last hour and a half to pull off my neutral safety switch [reverse lights stopped working and none of the fuses are bad] and the housing is stuck on the shaft. i can wiggle it but it wont pull off. the adjusting screw, nut and shaft seal are out. am i missing something or am i just stupid?
