Need urgent highbeam lever

Need urgent highbeam lever
I did a blinker switch today and i cant figure out how the high beam lever goes. It has a plastic shroud a piece of plastic and the rod through the steering column. Its a 1988 jeep xj. Need it done by tonight got a got date tomorrow.
