i have a 95 cherokee and latley 2 out of 10 times when i go to start it it wont do any thing i can hear the relay but thats it battery is very good ill hafe to turn the key off/on severl times any one had this problem b4? thanksss

 

HAve you checked the tightness and corrosion conditions onthe battery terminal/connectors?

 

One possibility is the CPS. Though with my experience it just went out.

 

If it happens try wiggling the shifter around and if its starts in a certain sweet spot, if so then you need to clean your NSS aka neutral safety switch.

oh and try putting it in N to start it too.

ok it happend again today and i put it in N to start it and it worked where is the NSS and when u say clean it just spray it off or what
