After spending 3 hours under the Jeep today I realized how badly 14 years in the NE as treated the XJ. The shocks are actually not even there! There is something that resembled a tube at one point but they're not shocks anymore! lol the fronts are shot too. Also from the cat back, the exhaust is shot and just waiting to go. So I'm looking for some cheap replacements. I noticed on 4WD.com they hahd these items that looked ok.

Both products seem cheap enough and anything is better than what i have.

 

As for exhaust, the local auto supply store hould have all the parts you need hanging in the back. It will be cheaper and made of the the same material. As for the suspension, if the shocks are that far gone I gotta wonder how the leaf springs are? The pro comps you picked are ok, but check quadratec.

 

The leafs are bad as well. I am bottoming out over speed bumps at slow speed. Is that leafs or shocks?
