My Radiator is old and leaking. I have a 92 4.0 auto. kinda on a budget. I've been doing some research on a few brands, but when I read reviews, half the people are lovin' when the other half are hatin'. I need some suggestions.

I just picked up the one from Autozone last year when I did mine. It was about $110 and has a lifetime warranty so I get a free replacement if it fails. I had gotten the one from Advance Auto since it was like $30 cheaper with online coupons, but the connections for the trans cooler stick out too far and I couldn't physically mount the radiator (they screw in). If you don't use the trans cooler in the radiator that might be a cheaper option that still had the lifetime warranty.

CSF radiator from radiatorbarn.com. Hands down the best and at a reasonable price

I've been checking that one out, the Spectra Premium. So it's a drop in? All cooler line's line up right? Did you get a noticeable cooling?

The only thing I had to do was bend the lower tranny cooler line in sightly to clear frame, other than that is drops right in. I liked the build of the spectra better than the Advance Auto one. I didn't notice any better cooling because I had no cooling problems before or after changing the radiator. I changed the OEM one because it sprung a leak on the passenger side tank.

Picked up mine from autozone too, only due to I work there and it works great! I would also recommend replacing thermostat n gasket too so you know it's all new.

I also replaced mine with one from autozone and that was about 3 or 4 years ago and I have never had a problem with it. Plus if for some reason I do need to replace it. I don't have to worry about shipping out the old and waiting for a new one to be sent back.
