I'm in the midst of a sweet deal. I have been needing to do Something with My axles pinion bearing. I'm going to look at this 86 cherokee 4 banger w/tow package
So that means d44 right?
What kind of ratios I'm looking at with the 4 banga?

 

It can mean D44. Gear ratio, I think, would be 4.10, but there's a slim chance of 4.56 if it's an automatic.

 

Hopefully score the whole thing for 500 or so
Pray for d44 4.10s or 4.56 still an upgrade from stock.

 

4.56 ratio is perfect for 33s with an auto I6, and it can be used for 35s comfortably. With a manual tranny, make those 35 and 37 respectively. I wouldn't mind finding some for myself.
