ok so i got a 01 cherokee sport that was 2wd and had been converted to 4wd. i am running into issues as to what year the hub could be the axle is supposed to be out of a 93 with a d30 and high pinion if i remember right. i tried 01 down to 93 on the hubs and the hub diameter is to big and hits the rotor when you go to slide it on. so i am assuming that the rotor and hub is off of something older bc the rotor is smaller than one off of a 01. if anybody has any useful answers please feel free to help out. i am in a rush to get this done today bc its got a bay at work tied up now and its my dd so i dont want to walk home tonight lol

Did you buy it already converted or did you do the 4wd conversion yourself. If you didnt convert it the PO could be wrong on what year the front axle is. im pretty sure 84-90 then 91-93 then 94-96 and 97-99 then 00-01. im pretty sure thats how the years go and how the changes made on the jeeps go. as in 84-90 are all the same and 91-93 are same and yadda yadda. So if you can make a trip to the junkyard i would check the hubs and rotors of a jeep from one year of those years and see if it works.
Thats all i got to offer. hope it helps at least some

You can put any hub onto any axle except 90- and 90+ design breaks require swapping knuckles The gaps in the brake hardware and hubs are 84-89, 90-99.5 and 99.5 to 01. I dont want to copy Tims knowledge so heres a link!

I think the issue your having is composite vs cast rotors

The axle is out of a 84 Cherokee. I still have the cherokee that that axle came out of. If you need a question answered you can just text me you should still have my phone #. I built that rig so I'm pretty sure I know everything thats on it lol or almost everything..
