Hello i am new to this forum. i have read many of the articles and have not been able to figure out my problem. i have a 2000 jeep cherokee classic 4.0. my speeedomoter and trip are not working. i have replaced the vss, and verified that the gauges work. i have also hooked a drill up to the vss shaft and have seen that my gauge does move that way. i have replaced the gear on the vss to transfer case adapter. still nothing. any advice on where to go next would be great. thank you

 

Remove Vss and look inside see if tranny gears ok. Also is vss clocked right .

 

I will check those tomorrow morning. And let you know.
