I don't want to hijack this thread, but this brings up a question...Napa has two brands of TPS, a Echlin, and a Delphi, which is $10 more. Is one better than the other?

Got a 96 Cherokee and replaced the TPS and IAC with 97s. It is shifting like normal now but i have difficulty starting and constantly stalls. I need to floor the gas pedal before it starts and all well be fine. Once in a great while when I am at a traffic light and in gear, it would stall. By the way, when it does start without flooring the gas pedal, it is a little bit rough but eventually levels off. Disconnected the battery and re-started, again with the gas pedal all the way down. I slowly release the accelerator and it sounds great. But then I drive it around and it stalls.. HELP!!!

a little word of advice about autozone tps's....TAKE IT BACK!! i bought one from them cause i thought my stock one was bad, well the new one made it run like crap, and it stopped working all together after about a week, i put the old one back on cause it was fine and now it runs great again, if you really need a new one, either get it from napa or a dealer, they are the only two good ones with the electronic sensors
