I have a 89 Jeep cherokee limited 4.0, when I come to start at all the time takes long cranking about 2 to 3 second even if it is cold or hot it is same I change fuel filter 8 month ago and I had full tune up, even i change the crank sensor which it is on Trans M case on the top behind the engine but still is the same. Anyone know what the problem could be?

 

Well I've read that it's completely normal in the XJ's (especially older ones) to take even 5-7 secs to crank over

 

mine did that for the past fifteen years of it life i just installed the 703 injectors yesterday gus what dont do it no mo

 

I'm gettin me some 703 injectors! Maybe it will drink less gas too!
