need help lift ques
sorry if this is under worng topic please move if needed thanks.
just found this brand new 3in lift on craigslist in my area. was wondering if its worth the money and if its a good lift. here is what the ad says:
"I purchased a budget lift kit for my Jeep Cherokee but by the time the lift was finally shipped to my house I decided to go another route with the lift so I'm posting it for sale. I'm looking to get $150 for it. Brand new in box, I only took it out of the box today to take pictures to post. Its a bushings and shackles lift so it wont affect ride quality like the add-a-leafs lifts do."
heres the actual link if it helps

Those blocks look a little cheesey. They look pressed together like they might would actually come apart on you. The spacers and shackles all look good. It would also be more worth $150 bucks if he threw the shocks in with the rest of the lift.

looks like its from rocky road outfitters. http://www.rocky-road.com/xjbudget.html
you can get their 2 inch system with bar pin eliminators for the shocks front and rear, for 140 bux new. the 3 inch lift is 149, so he's not overcharging you. you will need longer u bolts, and your shocks will be too short.

Just going to go ahead and say it.. Do not use blocks on your worn out leaf packs. Trust me they will flex the wrong direction once you install those blocks with the longer shackles. I ha 2" lift shackles on my jeep and the leaf packs sat flat and flexed the wrong direction when hitting bumps.
