Yea most 15's are a c ratin which is a 6 ply tire. 16's most of the time are atleast a d (8 ply) ratin sumtimes even a e (10 ply)rating.

If you like the look of the tef. coated ones, but like the price of the d-windows. Check out "soft eights". Its a steel wheel with a similar "hole" pattern. I have 16" d-windows and my tires do have a stronger sidewall but also have a harsher ride at 32 psi.

I love them, they have some other really nice steel wheels and good prices. They are 50 a pop compared to 66 at summit.
