Hello Cherokee Forum Members.

I need some help, I am extremely new to the world of jeep. Was a ford guy, recently bought on 07 commander (5 months ago), liked it so much that I bought an 89 Cherokee last week to play around with. I've been doing the normal maintenance that you do to a new "used" vehicle, swapping plugs, wires, cap, fuses, that kind of stuff. I am trying to get the vehicle road worthy in 2 weeks so I can take it to pass state inspection.

Ok now that I have the back ground out of the way here is my issue: I replaced EVERY fuse I could find just to ensure that everything was good to go (all I found was on drive side under dash). Since I have owned the Cherokee (1 week) I have not been able to get the dash lights, radio, heater/blower to work. I get power to the dash as the cigarette lighter works just fine. Also the blinkers, lights, everything out side the vehicle seem to be working as expected!

Are there any other places I should be looking for fuses? I am banging my head agents the wall! Any help would be awesome!

In a desperate attempt to get power I replaced the ignitionswitch. Didn’t fix the problem, frustration is started to kick in. Any helpwould be appreciated !
