need help with clunk
i have a clunk in the front happens when i go over bumps and the weight transfers in corners, new shocks all tight and the suspension stuff is tight, thinking it may be a ball joint or ball joints, any help would be appreciated?

See if it goes away when lightly stepping on the brakes at low speeds (15-25mph)
I just spent 2 weeks trying to figure mine out... after a lot of tinkering and bolt checking, then finally throwing in the towel and getting professional help, I came to the conclusion that the passenger side caliper bolts were the culprit. They have a rubber sleeve/boot housing that goes over the metal sleeve the bolt goes through (one up top, on on the bottom, you'll see the small black rubber sticking out by the bolt head). That rubber on the outsides was perfectly fine, the rubber INSIDE was basically gone causing the caliper to clunk on the metal sleeves. If this is your issue, you should be able to jack up the front end and the caliper will move, just a little, forward and backward. Not good. A little side to side play is fine, but fore and aft is not. I stopped at NAPA, got 2 caliper bolts, 2 sleeves, and 2 rubber sleeve boot things for $17. The shop wanted me to do a full caliper rotor pad replacement... I THINK NOT! Total fix was $17 in parts, and the $25 the shop charged me for "diagnosing" the problem... Total savings was about $600
