Need help 96 grand cherokee

My gauges and dash lights stoped working. is there a fuse for the gauges? and the radio lights up but no sound. i did put and aftermarket in would that cause it? Help!!!!!

jeeps are notorious for their wiring, so it could be something loose or frayed. but start with the fuses. there are two places to check- one is down by the pass feet, the other is under hood, also pass side.

The deck should not effect dash lights or gauge function unless you cut a wire you weren't suppose to...
