Here's the deal, I have an 01 Cherokee and I have already put a 2 inch spacer lift on it but I have decided I want to go bigger, like a 3 inch lift or possibly a 4 inch. I already have an adjustable front track bar and I was wondering if I would need anything that is not included in the kit. Also, I have heard some about having to lower the transfer case. Is that really necessary for a 3 inch lift? Thanks guys.

 

On 97+ XJs, something was built differently. It is more common on 97+ with a 3" lift to get drive shaft vibes than on a pre-97. Brake Lines, other than that install and go from there. Every jeep is different

 

I've got a 3.5" lift, and outside of the springs and shocks, I also put on extended brake lines (front and rear), longer LCAs, discos, adjustable trackbar, and new steering stabilizer. The kit I got (RE SF) came with the rear brake lines, discos, and LCAs.

As for vibes, I guess I got lucky. I've got them, but they're very minor - I can still do highway driving with it. I've got a SYE sitting on the floor of my living room right now, though... TC drop is another option, but to me, kind've defeats the point of the lift.
