not sure exactly what year it is but it looks to be renix from the looks of the engine bay (pressure bottle up there at the top) Its REALLY clean. as far as the engine goes its the 4.0 inline 6

I would guess the year to be 87-89 somewhere in there.

Your VIN # would tell you, What you want to know. Your rims where offered between 87' to 91'. Chilton or Hayes Manual will tell you the rest. ( Which you check on through the Local Public library. Possible online ) My first guess would 89' Limited or Brairwood.

You can give me the VIN and I can look it up in my VIN decoder here at work if you want to know specifics.

Dont take my word for it, but i think its a 95 or 96... look at the tag under the hood on the driver side. It should tell you right there

i would say you have a very very very clean xj that i like.. lol. but it looks like a 89 or 90 limited or brairwood with the 4.0 in it.

Definetly a "Renix" motor so between 87-89 is my guess also...Tj
BTW its in real nice shape.

yes, definately a renix model, they had the silver valve covers, also the pressure bottle there on the left is a dead giveaway, in 91 when they went to HO they got rid of the closed cooling system. I would say this jeep is a 87-89 model.

it's a limited, either 89 or 90.
my guess would be 89, just cause they made the most xj's in that year, and most being the limited model.
also, limited came with those gold rims, and leather interior. this one looks to have been repainted or the gold pinstriping removed.

on a side note, 95/96 and up has 4x4 decals, not the raised plastic emblems. and no pressure bottle as previously mentioned.

plus, i have two 89 limiteds.

From the cooling system I would say 1987 to 1990 renix as well.

Leather and factory cup holders are nice

If it was mine, first thing I would do would be change over the cooling system to the newer system.

Definitely a Renix engine bay - the seats look different to the ones in my '88 Ltd. though.
