Hi all,

I have a 1992 Laredo. I just noticed a Light Blue square plug hanging just above and to the right of my accelerator pedal. It is coming through the firewall. Here is a bad picture of it, it was dark and I couldn't do much better. Any ideas what it does and where it is supposed to be connected? It has 5 male spades inside and the wire is approximately 12" long.

I think its for the cruise control box under the seat. I'm not a 100% on that though.

 

I would love it if it fixed my cruise control, however there is no way it is long enough to reach my seat unless it connects to another wire that goes under the seat. It just wouldn't be long enough.

Do you have the box under your seat? There would be another set of wires that would connect to it, if that's what that wire goes to.

 

It could also be for power seats now that I remember that some of these jeeps came with them.

 

Well, there is not a box under my seat and I do not have power seats. Thanks for trying to help me out. I will try and see if my friends 98 has anything similar and what it may go to.
