Mystery Leak and newbie advice
Hello Everybody,
I have a mystery leak. It is on the metal pipe that comes from the radiator. There seems to be a liquid mixed with road grime on the pipe which is maybe leading me to believe that it is leaking (yeah really haha). I havent noticed any significant coolant loss, but it does need to be topped off every so often. Attached I have a couple of pictures that should show you what I am talking about, and maybe you can give some insight into what is going on.
I also want to ask a very beginner question too. I have a rubber guard covering the underside of my jeep, and I want to remove it to just see the underside of the engine. I tried pulling on the plastic fasteners and to no avail... I was wondering if any of you had advice for pulling these out. A picture of this is also attached.
Thank you all
how do i remove these w/o damaging the rubber guard?

That seeping line appears to be a transmission cooler line/hose, or, a power steering line. Mine seep like that too, but not enough for me to get excited yet
My Jeep doesn't have that panel under it, so no advice here. Others here will know though...

For the plastic fasteners I just pulled on mine. Getting a pair of pliers or something the can grab them tight works. The only way is to yank on them. You can also pull them just enough so you can clip them off and replace them as they are cheap.

I cut all of mine off and replace with new rubber hose, Those steel end connections suck. After you cut put a brass fitting and clamp both ends. I added oil cooler so it worked out good.
