mystery 4000 rpm rev limiter after motor swap

mystery 4000 rpm rev limiter after motor swap
I put a 4.0 out of a 94 grand cherokee automatic in to my 92 5 speed ax-15 cherokee sport,and now my rev limiter kicks in at 4000 rpm.
So does any one know how to fix this problem or of some sort of tuner/chip that can put my rev limit back well over 5000 rpm,s where it was originally???

you shouldn't have to spend alot of money on a tuner/chip to put it back to normal Rev range........thats weird....i dont know the answer to this but it makes me curious....
