Default Is My XJ Destroying Fuel Pumps?

I was having symptoms that would imply I needed a new fuel pump. I had to cycle the ignition, I heard gurgling coming from the gas tank like it was bleed off fuel back into the tank etc.

I had the fuel pump replaced at a shop with a brand new Bosch pump and sending unit and filter and everything was fine.

Now I'm getting hard starts again, I have to cycle the ignition at times and the gurgling is back, so what the hell is going on here? Is there something in the fuel delivery system that could be destroying my fuel pump?

How does it run when it finally starts? A bad injector can bleed off pressure by leaking, but engine usually runs extremely poor due to a cylinder being flooded, but will run fine after a few seconds and clears up. gurrgling sound not sure.

This is just my experience... I went through 2 airtex and a bosch in 3 months before finally settling with an oem part, no problems for a few months now. Luckily only had to pay for one of them!
