Well last nite my hood flew open when i was going about 35 down a hill on the highway it took about 100 yards to get stopped but it didn't break the windshield. It bent the hood up bad and bent the cowl which we fixed last nite. pics to come when i have a computer to upload them with.

I had a 76 Malibu back in my younger days. It had an L88 fiberglass hood, that i forgot to pin down one day. Hit about 45 down the road and it slapped back into the windshield, tore itself from the hinges and launched in the air probably 100... no 1000 feet. Came down in opposing traffic in front of a semi, that was a show.

 

Sry to hear that buddy. As Stryker says you have had a patch of bad luck lately.
What's wrong with your computer. Maybe you need to spend a little more time on CF after you get it fixed so your luck will improve.

 

doo00o0o0od! That sucks. My driver's side latch popped up going down the interstate last weekend at 70mph. I was just waiting for it to fly up in my face, so I pulled off and tried to jam it shut, wouldn't go, so I popped it and found my screwdriver laying there.

 

While I don't know what happed but after a couple long nite i fixed it and i'm going to get some hood pins to make sure it dont happen again. I fix my computer!!!!!! I had to take all the shims out of one side.

 

The movie Tommy boy comes to mind!!!I have done it on one of my mustangs. currently Own one the previous owner had fly up.My Buddy just did it to his mustang last summer!!
