Default my jeep wont start in the am and is a hard start in the pm

ok i have a 1996 jeep cherokee xj, about a month a 2 or go it became harder to start, then i started using the double prime method and it started ok and runs fine. as of late i cant get it to start in the morning then in the evening its a hard start, and now it wont start with a little starter fluid.i know different ppl say the fluid is bad.
so the run down
new pluggs and wires still hard to start
new distributer cap and rotor still issues
seems to have good fuel pressure at the rail
this weekend i am going to change out the following
UF97T Ignition Coil UF97T Ignition Coil
,
PUC9 Distributor Pick-Up Coil PUC9 Distributor Pick-Up Coil
,
RY612 Relay RY612 Relay
,
Relay 12v 30a Relay 12v 30a
,Idle Air Control Valve,Crankshaft Position Sensor and if that dont work gonna change out my fuel pump.i have had it for 2 years and always ran fine untill the recent issues plus i am going to clean the http://i.viglink.com/?key=3ce6993ff3b3fa3e38fea29698e69bc5&insertId=3fe06f89b5b2bad3&type=L&exp=-1%3Ana%3A0&libId=jy98h75d010013qm000DAq93k83jb&loc=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cherokeeforum.com%2Ff2%2Fmy-jeep-wont-start-am-hard-start-pm-252525%2F%23post3565250&v=1&iid=3fe06f89b5b2bad3&opt=true&out=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_nkw%3Dthrottle%2Bbody&ref=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cherokeeforum.com%2Fnewthread.php%3Fdo%3Dnewthread%26f%3D2&title=my%20jeep%20wont%20start%20in%20the%20am%20and%20is%20a%20hard%20start%20in%20the%20pm%20-%20Jeep%20Cherokee%20Forum&txt=%3Cspan%3Ethrottle%20%3C%2Fspan%3E%3Cspan%3Ebody%3C%2Fspan%3Eany ideas or thoughts.

OK seriously...

You need to measure that with a pressure gauge. Borrow it from AutoZone.

Then I would pull all the injectors and test, clean and inspect. Or any combination thereof.

You need to figure out if your problem is fuel or spark, but the starting fluid thing makes it sound like fuel.

Test and inspect first. Do everything that's free.

ok will do thanx

quick question if the injectors are gummed up, dirty or need cleaning or replaced would the jeep run rough and have a bad idle or stall? once its running it idles fine and drives well its just after it sets and cools down

They could be leaking, flooding the cylinders and making a hard start, but check fuel pressure first.

At any rate, cleaning and checking injectors is basically free (aside from a couple packs of O-rings and a can of carb cleaner) and not a bad idea regardless.

When you get the pressure testing kit, measure the pressure while running, then while it's off for a period of time (judging by your description, leak down should happen pretty fast).
See if the oil smells like gas. When you pull the rail, turn the key on for only a few seconds to see if/which injectors leak.

Keep this in mind if/when you go to injector cleaning:

Taking the liberty that at one point it DID start with starter fluid.

A good thing to replace that may or may not help is the filter for the fuel if your vehicle has a separate one. It is my understanding that 1996 was a complex year.
Post the fuel pressure before touching the key, after moving to key to on position, while cranking, once started/running, and 30 seconds after killing the engine.
Post the compression (wet - with oil) in each cylinder.
Post a test of the spark with an on-line gauge.
That information usually does the trick. Also, most parts stores "rent" the gauge for fuel and combustion pressure for free. You'll likely have to buy an on-line spark gauge which isn't too much cost.

Actually, it's

Pressure should not fall below 30 psi for five minutes
if pressure starts at 49.2 ± 5 psi.
