Did you recently flush your coolant?

I once had an issue where the previous owner at one point put stop leak in the car and it made its way to the heater core. I flushed the heater core and heat returned. Not saying its your problem, but it could be a solution.

You could be low on fluid.

Check fluid, then flush the system with the heat on. If that doesn't work the problem will involve TT's (tools and time).
