My 88' Cherokee
Hey everyone, this is my first post.
I just bought the jeep Sunday for only $700, and drove it home! So far, i know nothing about the Jeep, besides its a 1988 6cyl 4.0-4x4
Here are some pics i took as soon as i got home.

Well it will be my daily driver when i get it reliable. I'm going through the whole truck looking for any problems or parts that need to be replaced. Once i go through the jeep and fix everything, i will sell my current vehicle and make the jeep my daily driver.

lets not get hasty on selling your current DD. what is it and you would not believe the amount or fun you will have with the XJ knowing you dont have to drive it to work on monday.

I got some more updates!
I started doing a little work on the engine. I took the head off for a few reasons.
1. It was leaking oil
2.It was ugly as chit
3. i wanted to look underneath it to see the condition of the valves.
After cleaning the inside and outside, i shot it with some silver caliper paint.
Then I took off the brake master cylinder cap off and painted that.
I'm still waiting for the cork to do the head gasket. So pics will come soon.
Here is what i used:
Then i took off the rear drums cleaned and painted them
I also took off the siding trim. (I think it looks A LOT better!) I have some updates comming about the purpose of that.
Next i started taking the window tint off the windshield, front windows, and corner windows. In the pic below, you can see the darkeness difference between the front and rear door.
Still workin on the windshield.
