I have a 91 4dr with a 4.0 and i need a new muffler and was wondering what size inlet and outlet i need to get. Ita all original. Im just having a problem measering it. Do i need to get a 2.25 center inlet and a 2.25 ofset outlet or bigger to slide over the pipes that are there. Thanks

 

I believe you would get 2.25 center/offset.

 

im pretty sure its a 2.5 both ends....

 

You will need a muffler with a 2 1/4 ID (inside diameter) inlet and outlet

 

now Im sure this is a stupid question but o well. It doesnt matter what side the off set is on right just as long as it is ont the outlet right because i could just roll it over.

 

If I follow what your trying to say, then your correct it doesn't matter.

 

Ya just if the offset on the outlet is on the other side i would just roll it upside down. not changing the in and out just top and bottom. That doesnt change anything right? and im still lost on size. lol I have hear 2.5 and 2.25.
