Default Switching out motors!!!

Hey guys I have a 2000 Cherokee 4.0 that is blown! I located a 98 with very low miles for very cheap! The 2000 motor has the CPS sensor where the 98 has a distributor! How would I go about swapping this out? Need help!!!!

ill be watching here as i prob will do a swap in future. looked at the link and will need to go over it a while. mine is 2000 with slight piston slap and good.so far, 331 head. the 331 is my concern. how much should i worry about slap?

Keep up on the oil changes. Use 5w if you live where it gets cold. You can keep it going awhile, but it might be smart to start looking for a donor motor. Have one already pulled, cleaned and ready to go when yours craps out. Then if it doesn't, you can always sell it with the Jeep or separate.
