I heard they were tricky to install and are easily screwed up. I've gotten some advice but has anyone here had to do this and run into unusual problems?

I just put some Rusty's mounts in a 97' Cherokee...the factory rubber ones had 140k and were trash. It was very straight forward actually. I read a lot of people had issues with the driver side mount (ie- spacers didn't fit right) and also said you had to take off the oil filter to get the bolt through...those must have been pre-97' style because mine both went in perfectly.
Whole job took about an hour...no problems whatsoever

not a hard job really, just gotta be careful
i lifted up on the oil pan with a jack with some wood on the top of it.
i DID have to trim the driver side mount that was on the engine, 5-10 mins with a angle grinder and some 60 grit pads and it was all good.
using ironman4x4fab mounts here, was amazed when i first started it and the engine wasnt rocking back and forth at all haha

Yea, I forgot to mention I took off the air box, and jacked the engine up with a floor jack and some plywood under the oil pan.
Night and day difference....if I had to do it again, I probably wouldn't use Poly mounts. They are a bit stiff for a daily driver IMO
