I've been chasing down and fixing noises, clunks and clicks on my 2000 XJ.
Well, this morning I was going through one of my standard 'how does everything look' checks on the vehicle. For some unknown reason I grabbed the bolt on the passenger side motor mount. It was finger tight.
I had never touched those before. Well, I tightened it down, went for a spin, and my clunks are gone. I still have a few 'clicks' from the worn bushings on the control arms, but for crying out loud! Such simple fix.
