Well when attempting to replace my ac compressor all but one of the four bolts that run down through the compressor and thread into the bracket underneath wasn't so badly seized up it stripped the bolt in two. Upon removing the bracket and inspecting it, I noticed that the idler/fan bearing that's integral to the bracket is worn all to **** (sounds shot and has more play than it ought to) and in need of replacing. Since this bracket would need both the broken bolts removed and replaced (the unfun job of grinding them down, drilling them out, and then re-tapping the holes/threads) and the bearing replaced (if that's even possible, seems like a lot of work). So my question is, where in the hell can I find this part (little luck finding it through a parts store)?? I will probably start checking with the local JY but that presents the issue of more ****ty thread bores and worn bearings again, and I'll be ridiculously pissed if I have to replace this S.O.B. again.
