Has anyone done a quick breakdown for easy reference on the basic equipment for the different year XJ's

For example

1984 GM V6 (carburated?)
1985
1986 GM ignition
1987
1988
1989
1990
1991
1992
1993
1994
1995
1996 4.0 (type of FI) (other options, tranny, etc) chrysler ignition
1997
1998 4.0 (type of FI) (other options, tranny, etc) chrysler ignition
1999
2000
2001

With info such as available engines, fuel delivery, trannys, transfer case, gearing, axles, ignitions, heck I don't know what else, things that would be useful

If someone has done this I would love to see it. I am constantly looking at other old cherokees that people are dumping and thinking, I wonder what off of that truck would fit one of mine...

For me, I don't always even know what the Jeeps I drive have. I know I have a 4.0 automatic.

Being the type - I would be tempted to create a basic spreadsheet for quick reference, but I don't even begin to know how you would post something like that on here.
